Robert P. Schechter Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer

As Chairman and CEO, Bob Schechter has led NMS Communications through fundamental changes in the telecommunications industry since he joined the company in 1995. Prior to joining NMS, Mr. Schechter held various senior executive positions with Lotus Development Corporation (1987 to 1994), and from 1980 to 1987 he was a partner of Coopers and Lybrand LLP. Mr. Schechter serves as a director on the boards of Avici Systems, Moldflow Corporation and Unica Corporation. He is also a board member and past chair of the Massachusetts Networking and Communications Council, and a past chair and honorary trustee of The Children's Museum of Boston.

Dianne L. Callan Vice President and General Counsel

Ms. Callan has been vice president and general counsel at NMS since April 1997. She was deputy general counsel of Lotus Development Corporation from 1986 to 1996, where she concentrated in the legal areas of business development and intellectual property. Ms Callan holds a BA in Mathematics and an MS in Computer and Communications Sciences, both from the University of Michigan, and a JD from Boston University Law School.

Todd Donahue Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Donahue joined NMS in February 2007. Prior to joining NMS, Mr. Donahue served in senior finance and operations roles at Aspen Technology, Inc., a global software and solution provider, including as Vice President of Product Operations and Vice President of Finance. His prior experience includes positions as Corporate Controller at Corechange, Inc., an enterprise portal software company, and Manager of Financial Reporting at Ardent Software, which was acquired by Informix. Mr. Donahue began his career at Deloitte and Touche LLP in assurance and advisory services. He holds a BSBA in Management from Boston University, an MBA from Babson College, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

José Freitas Vice President, Human Resources

Mr. Freitas joined NMS in 1997. In his current position, he is responsible for leading human resources, including organization design, total compensation, staffing, employee relations and executive recruiting. Prior to that, as Director of Human Resources, he provided strategic HR counsel and advice to executives, managers and employees on a range of issues and managed benefits, stock programs and payroll. Before joining NMS, Mr. Freitas held positions of increasing responsibility in Operations and Finance at Stratus Computer. Mr. Freitas holds a BS from Framingham State College.

Steve Gladstone President, NMS Communications, Communications Platforms Division

Mr. Gladstone is responsible for NMS's Communications Platforms business, evolving the company's industry-leading enabling technology products and media server and gateway solutions for voice, video and data applications. Widely acknowledged as an industry pioneer and innovator, at Wang Labs in the early 1980's, he was part of the team that introduced one of the industry's earliest commercial voicemail systems. In 1991, he founded Hammer Technologies, now Empirix, and built it into the world-wide market share leader in VoIP and enhanced services testing and monitoring. Prior to that, he held various marketing and management roles at prominent PBX manufacturers and telecom research firms.

Joel Hughes President, LiveWire Mobile Division

Mr. Hughes is responsible for product strategy and development for NMS's Platforms and Mobile Applications offerings. He joined NMS early in 2006 as part of the acquisition of IMS handset applications provider Openera Technologies, where he was president & CEO. Since the beginning of his career, Hughes has been active in creating and bringing next-generation communications software products to market, including as a founder, president and CEO of SnowShore Networks, a pioneering IP media server company acquired by Brooktrout in 2004. Hughes received a BSEE from the University of Rochester.

Herb Shumway Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Shumway joined NMS in 2000 as Vice President of Supply Chain Operations. Prior to his current position, Mr. Shumway served as Vice President, Operations, which included Corporate Quality, Technical Services, and Information Technology. Mr. Shumway has over 20 years experience in the high-tech industry, including executive positions in operations and business development with Compaq Computer and Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Shumway holds a BBA from The University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

R. Brough Turner Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Turner was a co-founder of NMS, where he oversees the evolution of product technology and architectures. Mr. Turner has a broad business background, and contributes to business strategy and market development at NMS, but his principal focus remains on engineering and technology. Prior to co-founding NMS, Mr. Turner spent 13 years in engineering and engineering management at Digilab, Inc. and at Block Engineering Inc., both subsidiaries of Bio-Rad Laboratories.
